From borrowers: Name, address, phone number, email address, loan purpose, loan amount, property value, and self-reported estimated credit score range.
From brokers: Name, company name, email address, phone number, and professional licensure information.
Automatically: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and UTM tracking parameters to measure ad campaign performance.
Borrower information is shared only with licensed mortgage brokers who purchase your lead through the LeadDesk marketplace. Each buyer has certified a permissible purpose under the FCRA. We do not sell data to data brokers, advertisers, or any party outside this transaction chain.
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing) under data processing agreements.
LeadDesk does not run credit inquiries of any kind. Borrowers self-report an estimated credit score range on the form. This self-reported estimate is shared with licensed mortgage professionals who purchase the lead under FCRA permissible purpose. It is not a consumer report and does not originate from any credit bureau.
Borrowers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time by emailing privacy@leaddesk.com. We will respond within 10 business days. Deletion requests will be honored within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data as defined by CCPA), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
We retain borrower data for up to 24 months to fulfill transaction obligations and comply with applicable laws. Broker account data is retained for the duration of the account relationship plus 7 years for financial record-keeping purposes.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), access controls, and security monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure — please contact security@leaddesk.com immediately if you suspect a breach.
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to measure traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
